Tuesday, May 21 (2-3pm ET)- The Opportunity Project: Prize Challenge Info Session
This webinar session will focus on our first ever prize competition to be launched in the summer— $80,000 in prizes will be awarded to TOP participants in 5 distinct categories. Learn more about The Opportunity Project, a 12 week tech development sprint process and topics for this year—including a 2020 Census challenge as part of the sprints (sub themes may include: enumerator recruitment, real time response data, and reaching hard to count communities (families with children, people experiencing homelessness, LGBTQ, rural populations/ digital divide, etc.). Thursday, June 13 (12-5pm ET)- Creatives for the Count- Census Pride
Grassroots and advocacy organizations pair up with creative professionals to help amplify online outreach for Census campaigns. Designers, copywriters, content strategists, videomakers, and creatives at large, will work with organizations to help generate digital content to amplify their digital outreach capacity, with the ultimate goal of increasing response rates among the hardest-to-count communities that they serve.
